Dr. Amy Bankey
Dr. Amy Bankey is a 2009 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Optometry. Prior to that, she graduated from New Bremen High School. She also graduated from Wright State University in Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree Magna cum Laude in biological sciences and a Master’s degree in Anatomy. She joined Fishbaugh Family Eyecare in June 2013. Dr. Bankey is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and the Ohio State Optometry Alumni Society. Dr. Bankey currently is an InfantSee provider and visits local schools as part of the RealEyes program, which teaches kids about eyes and eye safety. She has been recognized by the Ohio Optometric Association for presenting RealEyes to the highest number of students in Zone 10 since 2014 and the highest in the state in 2019 and 2020. She is licensed in primary care optometry, which includes routine eye exams, contact lens fittings and treating eye diseases.
Dr. Bankey currently resides in New Bremen with her husband, Nathaniel, and their daughter, Sara. During her free time, Dr. Bankey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching her daughter’s dance recitals and band concerts, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds.
