Dr. Chelsey Kunkler
Dr. Chelsey Kunkler was raised in Montezuma, Ohio and graduated from Marion Local High School in 2016. After high school, she attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences summa cum laude in May 2019. She continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry degree magna cum laude in May 2023.
Dr. Kunkler is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. She is an InfantSEE provider and provides comprehensive eye and vision assessments for early detection of vision problems for infants ages six to twelve months at no cost. She also volunteers through the Ohio Optometric Association Realeyes Program presenting in classrooms from preschool to 12th grade on eye anatomy, eye safety, and different eye conditions. Dr. Kunkler enjoys all aspects of optometry, but has a special interest in ocular disease and primary care.
Dr. Kunkler currently resides in New Bremen, Ohio with her husband, Henry (IV) and their son, Henry (V) and black lab, Dexter. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and traveling.
